Final Procurement Notice
The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Government of Georgia (the “Government”) signed a Compact Agreement on July 26, 2013 to implement a $140 million project through the Millennium Challenge Account – Georgia (MCA-Georgia).  The objective of this Compact has been to improve the quality of education in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields and increase the earning potential of Georgians, with the ultimate goal of reducing poverty. This Compact has a term of five (5) years, with a final end date of July1, 2019.
The Government, acting through MCA-Georgia, through this public announcement communicates to all contractors, consultants, and suppliers of goods and services that MCA-Georgia will close all Compact implementation activities funded by MCC on July 1, 2019. As such, contractors, consultants, and suppliers of goods and services will be required to stop working, on- or off-site, on all projects funded by MCA-Georgia on that date, unless the parties expressly agree before July 1, 2019. MCA-Georgia will not receive deliverables under contracts or agreements financed by MCC after this date unless the specific contract includes a later date. Any delivery without such conditions, received after this date, will be declared ineligible for the corresponding payment.
On August 1, 2019, MCA-Georgia will conclude the process of receiving invoices for payments of all accepted works, goods, or services completed and that have been delivered no later than July 1, 2019. The contractors, consultants, and suppliers of goods and services must deliver all pending invoices, payment certificates and claims before August 1, 2019.
MCA-Georgia takes the opportunity to thank all the interested parties for contributing to the success of the Program in favor of the entire Georgian population that has benefited.
