1. The United States acting through the United States Agency of International Development (hereinafter referred to as USAID) and Georgia, acting through the Ministry of Finance of Georgia have entered into an agreement for assistance to promote energy security through greater access to electricity and natural gas supplies for households in Western Georgia, promote the development of the Poti Free Industrial Zone (FIZ) on the Black Sea coast, and secure power exports through reliability related infrastructure improvements.
2. Pursuant to the terms of the above mentioned agreement, JSC Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (hereinafter referred to as GOGC), having received the rights to conduct this procurement by the USAID, invites all interested physical or legal persons to submit the Bids for the Procurement Of Maintenance Materials And Construction Equipment.

4. The procurement will be conducted in accordance with procedures specified in the Bidding Documents and in compliance with the Procurement Instruction approved by the Board of Directors of GOGC.
5. Bids must be received from 10:00 of May 19, 2014, but no later than 16:30 of May 23, 2014 (local time in Tbilisi). Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be accepted in hard copy with an accompanying electronic version according to the procedures described in the Instructions to Bidders of the bidding documents. Bids will be opened at the address below at 17:00 local time on May 23, 2014. Only authorized representatives of the bidders are allowed to attend the opening.
